Poetry Out Loud 2026
On Friday, February 6, 2026 Solano County Arts Council held the County-wide Poetry Out Loud student competition at the Vallejo Naval and Historical Museum, with a total of20 students participating from Fairfield High School, Elite Public Schools, St. Patrick - St. Vincent Catholic High School, and one homeschool student. Students recited poems for a panel of judges with the chance to travel to Sacramento for the state finals. The winner was Mashal Moflehi from Fairfield High School, who attended the Statewide Poetry Out Loud competition in Sacramento in March 2026.
